At the end of April, the Board of Directors of the Germany Emirati Joint Council for Industry & Commerce (AHK) embarked on a three-day trip to Germany, visiting Hamburg, Hannover, and Berlin. One of the highlights of their trip was a visit to the prestigious HANNOVER MESSE, the leading international platform for industrial transformation showcasing cutting-edge innovations and unique products. The delegates were amazed by the innovative industrial processes, solutions, and technologies on display, particularly those presented by industry giants such as SAP and Siemens.
A significant moment during the trip was a meeting with H.E. Mariam bint Mohammed Almheiri and her delegation at HANNOVER MESSE. The AHK Board of Directors felt honored to have the opportunity to engage with Her Excellency and her team, who also used the fair as a platform to connect with German governmental representatives from the Northern States. AHK Chairman Saeed Al-Faheem had the pleasure of conversing with H.E. Claus Ruhe Madsen, the Minister of Economic Affairs from the State of Schleswig-Holstein.
In addition to these meetings, the delegates had the chance to engage with key figures such as Secretary of State H.E. Stefan Schnorr from the Federal Ministry of Digitalization and Transport (BMDV), Secretary of State H.E. Stefan Wenzel from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs & Climate Action (BMWK), and various Members of the German Parliament (Bundestag).
